FCI and WUSV

Implementing the decision of the 2017 FCI General Assembly in Leipzig to cancel the agreement signed by the FCI and the Weltunion der Vereine für Deutsche Schäferhunde (WUSV) on April 18, 2013, the FCI General Committee informs the FCI members and contract partners about the following:

• 
  The agreement will officially be terminated on May 10, 2018.
  
• No German Shepherd Dog (GSD) pedigree issued after May 10, 2018 can bear simultaneously the FCI and the WUSV logos. Only FCI members/contract partners and GSD breed clubs affiliated to FCI members/contract partners are allowed to use the FCI logo.
• 
  From May 10, 2018, only the judges included in the judges’ lists of the FCI members/contract partners are allowed to officiate at events organised by the FCI members/contract partners and their affiliated clubs.
• 
  From May 10, 2018, the judges included in the judges’ lists of the FCI members/contract partners are allowed to judge events organised by WUSV members provided that the organising local club is affiliated to an FCI member/contract partner. They must have the previous approval of their national canine organisation.
• 
  From May 10, 2018, the judges included in the judges’ lists of the FCI members/contract partners are not allowed to judge events organised by WUSV members which are not affiliated to the national FCI member/contract partner of the organising country.
• 
  The WUSV judging clearance for the judges included in the judges’ lists of the FCI members/contract partners is not necessary. This applies to all events organized by FCI members/contract partners and their affiliated clubs. The only approval which is necessary is the one granted by the FCI member/contract partner of the judge in question.
